Deadly Camarillo Crash on Highway 101

 
CAMARILLO, CA (April 28, 2019) – One person was killed following a traffic accident Sunday morning in Camarillo, CHP officials said.
 
The fatal crash happened around 10:27 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 at Las Posas Road.
 
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in the report, but responding fire crews located one occupant trapped inside a vehicle.
 
That patient was reportedly unresponsive and was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
A coroner was notified to pick up the victim’s remains and conduct a full report.
 
Further information, including the identity of the victim, was not immediately available. The incident remains under investigation.
