Calum Pulido Identified as Skateboarder Killed in Mendocino Hit-and-Run Crash
MENDOCINO, CA (July 24, 2019) – Officials have identified Calum Pulido as the man who was hit and killed by a car as he rode a skateboard in Mendocino on Friday night.
The accident occurred at about 10:50 p.m. on Highway 1 at Little Lake Street. The police said 21-year-old Calum Taite Pulido of Mendocino was riding a skateboard in the area when he was hit by a northbound car.
First responders pronounced Pulido dead at the scene. The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene after hitting Pulido.
As per the police, they had impounded a silver Toyota pickup. They have also identified a person of interest in connection with the crash which is under investigation.
