Dennis Browning Involved in Accident near Wallula Junction
BURBANK, WA (May 20, 2018) – A motorist was hospitalized Sunday evening after sustaining serious injuries from a suspected DUI collision near Wallula Junction.
As per Washington State Patrol reports, the crash took place just before 7:30 PM on Highway 12, between Wallula and Touchet. A 2017 Nissan Sentra, driven by 29-year-old Caleb Rude of Lowden, was heading east on the highway. He crossed the center line and hit a 2015 Chevy pickup truck that was pulling a trailer, driven by 52-year-old Dennis Browning of Orofino, Idaho.
Rude was rushed to Providence St Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla with unspecified injuries. Authorities stated that he is currently listed in serious condition. Browning was reportedly unharmed from the collision.
The investigation determined that Rude was impaired at the time of the collision as he was under the influence of alcohol while driving. Authorities informed the public that Rude might face charges for DUI and negligent driving.
