Bryan Trujillo Fatally Injured in Glendora Rollover Accident
GLENDORA, CA (April 15, 2019) – A 28-year-old man from Los Angeles died after a rollover crash in Glendora on Friday, April 12.
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified the victim as Bryan Trujillo.
The collision occurred at around 3:53 p.m. on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway just west of Grand Avenue.
The initial investigation showed that the driver of a silver 1999 Isuzu SUV traveled at a high rate of speed. The vehicle moved in and out of multiple lanes on the Foothill Freeway before the incident, CHP Officer R. Reyes stated.
Trujillo drove in the carpool lane when he changed lanes to the right across the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes and partially into the No. 3 lane. Then he quickly steered to the left to prevent collision with a car in the No. 3 lane, according to Reyes.
The driver subsequently lost control of the vehicle and caused the SUV to overturn multiple times, he said.
Trujillo died at the scene. There were no other injuries reported. Authorities believe that alcohol is not a factor in the crash, Reyes said.
No words can mend the broken hearts and sorrow felt during this delicate moment. Our deepest condolences and sympathies are with the loved ones and friends of Bryan Trujillo.
