Motorcycle Rider Dies after Crash with Semi Truck on 91 Freeway at Long Beach Boulevard
LONG BEACH, CA (February 19, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed following a traffic collision with a semi truck late Tuesday evening in Long Beach.
The fatal collision happened around 11:11 p.m. along the eastbound lanes of 91 Freeway at Long Beach Boulevard off-ramp.
According to reports, a motorcycle collided with a diesel truck, sending the rider down on the roadway.
Responding paramedics found the rider unresponsive and despite life-saving measures, the young man did not survive and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was later identified as a 20-year-old Bryan Quintero of Lynwood.
No details have been provided on the semi truck driver and whether or not they remained at the scene after the crash.
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
