EDCOUCH, TX (July 19, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a brutal two-vehicle crash on Highway 107 near West Mile 2 killed 1 person.

The incident happened on Highway 107, West of Mile 2.

According to the Edcouch Police Department, two unidentified vehicles collided for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced an 87-year-old woman, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a 5-year-old boy to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, authorities withheld the identity of the deceased, pending notification to the next of kin.
