1 Person Hurt in Goodyear Auto Accident on Perryville Road near Yuma Road

GOODYEAR, AZ (September 19, 2023) – Sunday afternoon, a brutal single-vehicle crash on Perryville Road near Yuma Road killed one person.

The incident happened on Perryville Road, between Van Buren Street and Yuma Road.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle lost control and struck a power pole for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash ejected two occupants of the vehicle, into the roadway.

Moreover, the authorities pronounced an infant, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported a 28-year-old man to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Perryville Road between Van Buren Street and Yuma Road, but has long since reopened.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office continued to investigate the crash.
