2 Teenage Boys Hurt in Solo-Vehicle Crash on MO 34
Bollinger County, MO (July 31, 2024) On Monday afternoon, 2 teenage boys were hurt after a single-car crash on Highway 34.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the solo-vehicle crash happened around 12:25 p.m. on MO 34, approximately 12 miles west of Marble Hill.
Reports say that a 16-year-old boy from Greenville, was driving a 2011 Buick Regal that left the road, then overturn and ultimately collided with a tree.
Officials say that the 16-year-old driver was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, a 17-year-old male passenger from Cuvert City, OK sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Cape Girardeau hospital for treatment.
Authorities say that both teens were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Troopers are investigating the traffic crash and have not released further details at this time.
