HARRIS COUNTY, TX (August 20, 2023) – Saturday, a brutal pedestrian crash on North Freeway and Richey Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened in the 15800 block of the North Freeway at Richey Road.

According to reports, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said units came to the scene and found a woman dead.

Reports said that the woman was possibly hit by two different vehicles and both suspect vehicles remained at large.

Also, the crash led to the closure of the southbound/inbound feeder lanes, north of Richey.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
