1 Dead in Jurupa Valley Pedestrian Accident on Mission Boulevard and Wineville Road

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (September 24, 2023) – Saturday morning, a brutal pedestrian crash on Mission Boulevard and Wineville Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 3:00 a.m. on Mission Boulevard and Wineville Road in Jurupa Valley.

Reports revealed that a car struck and killed a pedestrian. When the deputies arrived, they located the pedestrian with severe injuries on the road. Then, they declared the victim dead at the scene.

Investigators confirmed that as the vehicle traveled east on Mission Boulevard, the pedestrian stepped into the roadway crossing into eastbound lanes of traffic, and was hit.

Meanwhile, the driver suffered no injuries and remained on the scene to cooperate with deputies.

Also, the authorities haven’t determined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
