SAN DIEGO, CA (September 22, 2023) – Wednesday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on Mira Mesa Boulevard and Pacific Heights Boulevard killed one person.

Reports revealed that the incident happened at around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Mira Mesa Boulevard and Pacific Heights Boulevard.

According to the San Diego Police Department, a 2016 Chrysler Pacifica van struck a female pedestrian who was crossing the roadway against a red light.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 57-year-old woman, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed Mira Mesa Boulevard in both directions between Lusk Boulevard and the intersection of Sequence Drive and Huennekens Street.
