TEMPE, AZ (December 12, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a brutal pedestrian crash on Interstate 10 near 40th Street killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 1:00 p.m. along Interstate 10 near 40th Street.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a man was running into and around the eastbound lanes of traffic in the area of Interstate and 40th Street. Then, the man tried to get into someone’s vehicle.

Eventually, a semi-truck hit and killed the man.
