GOLETA, CA (December 13, 2023) – Tuesday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on Hollister Avenue near Lowell Way killed one person.

The incident happened in the 7300 block of Hollister Avenue near Lowell Way.

According to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the driver involved remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
