SACRAMENTO, CA (June 10, 2023) – Wednesday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on Highway 99 and Elkhorn Boulevard killed 1 person.
The incident occurred at about 10:07 p.m. on southbound 99, north of Elkhorn Boulevard.
According to reports, a woman drove south on Highway 99. However, she got a flat tire on Elkhorn Boulevard. As another vehicle drove down the highway, the woman walked across the road into another lane and was struck and killed.
After the crash, the driver remained at the scene and waited for the authorities to arrive. Moreover, the police ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash.
