REDDING, CA (September 9, 2023) – Thursday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on Highway 273 and Canyon Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. on Highway 273 and Canyon Road for nearly two hours during that investigation.

Meanwhile, the Redding police revealed that as a woman drove south, she saw a large object in the road. Then, she tried to stop but ran over what turned out to be a man’s body in the road.

When the authorities arrived, they located the man dead under a car.

Also, the authorities are still working to identify the man and contact his next of kin.

Also, the crash led to the closure of Highway 273 at Canyon Road for nearly two hours during the investigation.
