The incident occurred at about 9:49 p.m. as the pedestrian walked south on Feather River Boulevard near Myrna Avenue.

According to officers, the pedestrian was a woman. Meanwhile, the 2006 Toyota Highlander driver that hit the victim remained at the scene.
