DALLAS, TX (October 15, 2023) – Friday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on Canton Street and South Crowdus Street killed 1 person.

The incident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. at the corner of Canton Street and South Crowdus Street.

Officers revealed that a car struck a person in Deep Vellum. Then, responders took the victim to the hospital where they later succumbed to injuries.

Also, the crash shut down traffic in the busy area of Deep Ellum for pedestrians and vehicles.
