PHOENIX, AZ (August 17, 2023) – Late Monday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on 75th Avenue and Indian School Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. on 75th Avenue and Indian School Road.

According to reports, a car struck and killed a woman.

When the authorities arrived, they found a critically injured woman who needed further medical attention. However, she later succumbed to her injuries.

Officers said that the woman was outside of a marked crosswalk when a teen who had just turned north from Indian School hit her.

Then, the teen fled from the crash scene but was later apprehended.
