SAN ANTONIO, TX (September 3, 2023) – Friday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on 3700 Fredericksburg Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Fredericksburg Road.

According to reports, as a man walked within a crosswalk, a southbound Ford Mustang hit him at the intersection of De Chantle.

Officers confirmed that the driver did have a green signal. However, the driver confirmed that she didn’t notice the man due to his dark clothing.

The Bexar County Medical Examiner declared the man dead at the scene. Also, his identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.

Also, police don’t expect any charges to be filed against the driver.
