ODESSA, TX (September 17, 2023) – Thursday night, a brutal pedestrian crash on 300 West Interstate 20 killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 5:33 p.m. Odessa Police and Odessa Fire Rescue responded to a major crash in the 300 block of West I-20 in the westbound lanes.

According to the investigation, a pedestrian entered the west lanes going south and was struck by two vehicles.

As a result, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries at the scene.

Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identity of the deceased due to pending family notification.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
