BURBANK, CA (September 7, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a brutal pedestrian crash on 134 Freeway near South Buena Vista Drive killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:07 a.m. on the westbound Ventura 134 Freeway, just west of South Buena Vista Drive.

According to a California Highway Patrol spokesperson, a Toyota Prius struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed all lanes of the westbound Ventura 134 Freeway and the Buena Vista on-ramp for several hours. All lanes have long since reopened.
