3 Dead in Everett Pedestrian Accident on 11700 Airport Road

EVERETT, WA (November 10, 2024) – Saturday, 3 people died in a brutal pedestrian crash on 11700 Airport Road.

The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. at 11700 Airport Road in Everett.

The Everett Fire Department reported that a driver fleeing the scene crashed, hitting five people. Three individuals were killed, and two women in their twenties were transported to a local hospital—one with back and leg injuries and the other with multiple traumatic injuries. Officials confirmed all victims were adults.

Later, Everett police shared that they believed 3 or 4 people were inside the car. Following the crash, the occupants fled on foot. Police detained three juvenile boys found nearby, but they were later released to their families. Officials stated that the driver has not yet been identified, noting that state law poses limitations with juvenile suspects.

Officer CJ Hawley revealed that the area has a significant transient population, and the victims were sleeping on the grass near the sidewalk when they were struck. As of Saturday afternoon, the surviving victims remain in critical condition.
