SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (July 21, 2024) – Saturday morning, a brutal pedestrian crash on 110 Freeway and Florence Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 12:41 a.m. on northbound 110 Freeway and Florence Avenue in the South Los Angeles neighborhood of Vermont Knolls.

When California Highway Patrol officers arrived, they located a pedestrian lying in the middle lanes of the freeway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia revealed.

Moreover, they declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. Also, the identity, gender, and age of the deceased remained unknown.

Also, the authorities issued a SigAlert for the closure of the Florence off-ramp for several hours.
