Hit-and-Run Suspect in Deadly Auto-Pedestrian Crash Near Avenue H Still At Large
Lancaster, CA (February 8, 2024) On Thursday evening, a male pedestrian was killed in a brutal pedestrian crash on 10th Street West and the suspect driver is still at large.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the deadly hit-and-run crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. on 10th Street West north of Avenue H.
Reports say that an unidentified southbound vehicle struck a male adult walking in the middle of the No. 1 southbound lane of 10th Street West, and the suspect driver failed to stop and render aid to the fallen man.
Officials pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene.
Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run vehicle or motorist.
Deputies are investigating the fatal auto-pedestrian crash and have not provided additional information at this time.
