The incident happened at around 8:15 p.m. near Interstate 8 and Camino Del Rio West.

According to the San Diego Police, a van transitioned off the freeway onto the 3600 block of Camino Del Rio West and struck a 65-year-old homeless man who was walking in the street for still unknown reasons.
