WOODLAND HILLS, CA (November 28, 2023) – Monday morning, a brutal pedestrian accident on 101 Freeway and De Soto Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident occurred just before 3:00 a.m. when a man walked across the lanes on the eastbound Ventura 101 Freeway, just west of De Soto Avenue.

As a result, the man was hit and was declared dead at the scene.

Moreover, the authorities issued a SigAlert that closed eastbound lanes 5 and 6 and the Canoga Avenue on-ramp to the eastbound Ventura Freeway.
