1 Dead in Boerne Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 10 near Ranger Creek Road
BOERNE, TX (August 22, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a brutal motorcycle crash on Interstate 10 near Ranger Creek Road killed 1 person.
The incident happened at about 2:23 p.m. along Interstate 10 westbound near the Ranger Creek Road exit.
Boerne police reported that a motorcyclist had stopped for traffic due to nearby construction when a pickup truck rear-ended the bike. The truck’s driver, who apparently didn’t notice the stopped traffic, collided with the motorcycle.
In a Facebook update, police confirmed that the motorcyclist died at the scene. The driver of the pickup is cooperating with the investigation and is not anticipated to face any charges.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
