1 Dead in Orange Motorcycle Accident on 57 Freeway and Sunset Crossing

ORANGE, CA (October 11, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a brutal motorcycle crash on 57 Freeway and Sunset Crossing killed 1 person.

The incident happened at 1:46 a.m. on Orange 57 Freeway and Sunset Crossing.

According to reports, a male motorcyclist crashed with a big rig.

When the California Highway Patrol officers came to the scene, they located the motorcyclist, CHP Officer Sean Lough said.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded and declared the victim dead at the scene.

Also, the authorities issued a SigAlert for all lanes of the southbound freeway and officers rerouted all traffic off the freeway to nearby Pomona.

Moreover, the crash caused a traffic backup on the freeway for several hours.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
