1 Dead in Gardena Motorcycle Accident on 14500 Normandie Avenue

GARDENA, CA (January 30, 2024) – Saturday night, a brutal motorcycle crash on 14500 Normandie Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 8:25 p.m. in the 14500 block of Normandie Avenue.

“Upon arrival, officers found the motorcyclist on the roadway,” Gardena police revealed.

Then, responders took the injured patient to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries. However, his identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.

“A preliminary investigation discovered the motorcyclist was traveling northbound (on) Normandie Avenue when a vehicle made a left turn in front of the motorcyclist,” police added.

Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information on the case to contact Investigator Jose Zamudio at 310-217-6189 or Sgt. Daniel Guzzo at 310-217-6122.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
