1 Dead in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Northwest Freeway Feeder

HOUSTON, TX (October 4, 2024) – Thursday morning, a man died in a brutal hit-and-run crash on Northwest Freeway Feeder.

The incident occurred just after 2:00 a.m. on the Northwest Freeway feeder under 290 near W 34th Street.

Witnesses reported seeing an unidentified man lying on the ground, though it remains unclear what caused him to fall initially. While the witnesses were calling for help, they saw a driver in a white Chevy Malibu strike the pedestrian and then continue driving without stopping. Sadly, the man died from his injuries.

Authorities closed the roads for several hours as forensic examiners arrived to assist in the investigation. Police believe there may be surveillance footage from the area and are actively reviewing it to gather more information about the driver.
