HOUSTON, TX (March 4, 2024) – Sunday morning, a brutal hit-and-run crash on Interstate 45 near Parker Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 4:35 a.m. on Interstate 45 near Parker Road in north Houston on Sunday.

Reports said that after being hit by a vehicle on the highway, a male pedestrian succumbed to injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the vehicle failed to stop and police are now searching for the driver.

Also, officers are trying to determine why the man was on the highway.

Meanwhile, all northbound lanes of the highway before Parker Road have since reopened after being partially closed following the crash.
