TAFT, CA (February 5, 2024) – Sunday morning, a brutal hit-and-run crash on Gardner Field Road near Commerce Way led to a fatality.

The incident involving a vehicle and a bicycle occurred at around 7:00 a.m. on Gardner Field Road near Commerce Way.

When police arrived, they shut down Gardner Field between Highway 119 and Gas Company Road for their investigation.
