1 Dead in North Hollywood Pedestrian Accident near Victory Boulevard and Craner Avenue

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 10, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a 33-year-old man died in a brutal hit-and-run crash near Victory Boulevard.

Reports said that the incident happened at about 1:50 a.m. near the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Craner Avenue.

A man was struck by a dark-colored vehicle while outside a crosswalk, and the driver failed to stop, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital, where he later died. The county Department of Medical Examiner is withholding the man’s identity until his family is notified.

The city is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the suspect’s identification, arrest, and conviction. 

LAPD reminded motorists to stop safely, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene after a collision.
