LOS ANGELES, CA (November 16, 2023) – Tuesday night, a brutal hit-and-run accident on Normandie Avenue and Knox Street killed 1 person.

The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Normandie Avenue, north of Knoxx Street,

According to reports, a southbound vehicle on Normandie Avenue struck the victim just north of Knox Street. Afterward, the driver escaped the scene without stopping and headed south on Normandie Avenue.

After two minutes, another southbound vehicle on Normandie Avenue struck the man, who was lying on the street. That driver also fled the scene, driving south on Normandie Avenue.

As a result, the victim succumbed to injuries at the scene. Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed any details about his identity due to pending family notification.

Furthermore, the authorities urged anyone with information to contact the LAPD at 323-421-2561 or 877-527-3247.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
