3 People Dead in Baker Auto Accident on Interstate 15 near Halloran Springs Road

BAKER, CA (March 31, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a brutal head-on crash on Interstate 15 near Halloran Springs Road killed three people.

The incident happened at around 1:45 p.m. on Interstate 15 near the Halloran Springs Road off-ramp.

According to reports, a black Mercedes Benz SUV collided head-on with another SUV for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, officers confirmed that three people, including two children, died in the crash. Then, paramedics transported four people with critical injuries and three people with less severe injuries, to a hospital for treatment.

Furthermore, the crash closed all lanes of the interstate to give way to responders.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
