JOHNSON COUNTY, TX (July 18, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a brutal car crash on Interstate 35 W killed 1 person.

The incident involving a passenger who was sent through the windshield of the vehicle led to the closure of a portion of Interstate 35 W.

Initially, both lanes of traffic were closed. Eventually, only northbound traffic was allowed through. By 7:30 a.m., the Burleson Police Department announced that both lanes had been reopened.
