1 Dead in Moreno Valley Bicycle Accident on Alessandro Boulevard and Graham Street

MORENO VALLEY, CA (August 9, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a brutal bicycle crash on Alessandro Boulevard and Graham Street killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 5:20 a.m. on the eastbound side of Alessandro Boulevard, where it intersects Graham Street, said the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

According to Sgt. Marcos Acosta, a Kia Optima struck a motorcyclist whose identity remained undisclosed.

Moreover, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and waited for the authorities to arrive.

When the sheriff’s deputies and paramedics arrived, they located the bicyclist “severely injured (and) laying in the roadway,” Acosta added.

Responders took the victim to nearby Riverside University Medical Center, where later succumbed to injuries.

Meanwhile, the Kia driver sustained no injuries and has been cooperative with deputies. Also, the authorities haven’t made any arrests.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
