1 Dead in Tucson Bicycle Accident on 400 West Valencia Road
TUCSON, AZ (June 12, 2024) – Sunday night, a brutal bicycle crash on 400 West Valencia Road killed 1 person.
The incident happened at about 10:15 p.m. in the 400 block of West Valencia Road.
Reports said that an eastbound 2016 Dodge Dart driver struck the bicyclist who had moved in front of the car.
Meanwhile, the authorities haven’t determined which direction the cyclist was headed at the time of the crash. Officers confirmed that he succumbed to injuries at the scene.
Moreover, the Dart driver stopped and has been cooperative with the police.
Also, officers confirmed that the cyclist failed to wear a helmet, nor did he have the required lighting equipment for nighttime riding.
Meanwhile, the authorities also found narcotic paraphernalia in his possession.
