LOS ALTOS HILLS, CA (October 29, 2023) – Saturday morning, a brutal auto accident on Interstate Highway 280 and El Monte Road killed 1 person.

The incident happened at 3:33 a.m. on Interstate Highway 280, just south of the El Monte Road offramp.

According to reports, a vehicle crashed into the center divider along Interstate Highway 280.

As a result, the vehicle driver was declared dead at the scene, the CHP revealed.

Moreover, the incident shut down all southbound lanes of Interstate 280 north of El Monte Road, officers said.
