SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 4, 2023) – Late Sunday night, a brutal auto accident on Highway 181 and Old Corpus Christi Road killed 2 people.

The incident occurred at about 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 181 and Old Corpus Christi Road.

Reports revealed that as a silver 2000 Ford Taurus pulled out of a parking lot, a northbound white sport utility vehicle struck them.

As a result, both the 63-year-old male driver and a 62-year-old female passenger in the sedan died at the scene.

Also, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the deceased due to pending family notification.

Meanwhile, the SUV driver involved in the crash stayed at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication. Moreover, responders transported an SUV passenger to an area hospital as a precaution.

The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS all came to the crash scene.
