2 Dead in Fresno County Vehicle Crash on Copper Avenue near Willow Avenue

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (March 19, 2024) – Over the weekend, a brutal auto accident on Copper Avenue near Willow Avenue killed 2 people.

The crash occurred just after 1:30 a.m. on the east side of Copper Avenue near Willow Avenue, just down the road from Clovis North High School.

Reports said that three men were in a Tesla heading westbound on Copper when the car hit a center median guardrail and overturned, before striking another guardrail.

Officers said that the driver and front passenger failed to wear seatbelts and were ejected from the car.

Officers confirmed that both men died at the scene.

Meanwhile, a third passenger was transported to the hospital with injuries.

Also, officers suspect that speed was also a factor in this crash.
