The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. when a car crashed into Ricky Hawkins’ Southeast Oak Cliff home.

Officers confirmed that the car went in one side and out the other side of the family home. As a result of the crash, the driver and his passenger succumbed to injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, police confirmed that speed played a role in the crash.
