Brutal 3-Vehicle Crash on Ynez Road Kills 1, Injures 2 [Temecula, CA]

Temecula, CA (September 28, 2024) On Friday morning, a driver was killed while 2 other people were hurt after a 3-vehicle crash on Ynez Road.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department (RCFD), the horrific collision happened at around 10 a.m. at the intersection with Santiago Road, near Interstate 15.

Reports say that fire crews arriving at the scene found one vehicle overturned and two others with significant damage.

Paramedics pronounced the driver of one of the cars dead at the scene, and as of 11:30 a.m., crews were still working to extricate the body from the wreckage.

The two other individuals involved, whose identities have not been released, sustained moderate injuries and were transported to a regional trauma center for treatment.

Sheriff’s deputies partially closed the intersection to clear the wreckage and facilitate the investigation.
