Brutal 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 Led to Injuries [Butte County, CA]

Butte County, CA (February 3, 2024) On Friday, a horrific 2-vehicle crash on Highway 99 near Biggs led to 2 people getting hospitalized.

The CHP says that the van-big rig collision happened at the intersection of Highway 99 and East Rio Bonito Road.

Reports say that a southbound minivan, driven by a female driver, pulled into the path of the northbound semi-truck.

Medics rushed the female minivan driver to Enloe Hospital with moderate injuries, while the truck driver was also taken to Enloe Hospital as a precaution.

CHP is investigating the 2-vehicle collision and have not provided further information at this time.
