Brutal 2-Car Crash on Highway 395 Led to Injuries [Hesperia, CA]

Hesperia, CA (December 1, 2024) On Friday morning, emergency responders airlifted one person following a 2-car crash on Highway 395.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department (SBCFD), the horrific crash happened at approximately 7:30 a.m. on November 29, 2024, between Poplar Street and Main Street.

Reports say that the collision involved a gold Toyota Camry and a gray Mitsubishi Mirage collided head-on, causing significant damage to the front ends of both vehicles.

San Bernardino County Firefighters arrived at the scene and treated two individuals involved. One sustained critical injuries, while the other had minor injuries. Firefighters requested two ground ambulances and a medical helicopter.

A Mercy Air helicopter transported the critically injured patient to a trauma center outside the area after safely landing at Bishop and Poplar Street.

Authorities temporarily closed the northbound lane of Highway 395 to investigate the accident and clear the wreckage. The Hesperia Police Department is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash.
