1 Killed and 1 Hurt in Sonora Traffic Accident on Highway 108 near Old Wards Ferry Road
SONORA, CA (July 26, 2022) – Sunday night, Bruce Krejcik sustained injuries in a deadly crash on Highway 108 near Old Wards Ferry Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 5:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 108 near Old Wards Ferry Road.
Reports revealed that a Mitsubishi Mirage veered towards the westbound lanes for still unknown reasons. Then, it collided head-on with an eastbound Lexus.
Moreover, officers confirmed that the 41-year-old male Mitsubishi driver died in the collision. Then, responders transported the Mitsubishi driver, 72-year-old Bruce Krejcik of Tuolumne, via helicopter with major injuries.
Furthermore, officials confirmed that the Mitsubishi driver failed to wear a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
