Driver Hurt in Fatal Crash at Richey Avenue
Tucson, AZ (July 12, 2022) On Saturday, a motorist died and another suffered injuries in a 2-car collision on Broadway Avenue.
According to the Tucson police, the fatal crash happened around 11 p.m. on Richey Avenue.
Reports say that a driver on a white Buick sedan failed to yield at a stop sign, then turned left onto eastbound Broadway. Afterward, the Buick collided with a westbound Kia Soul.
Paramedics pronounced the Buick driver dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the Kia driver sustained minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating the incident and believed that impairment is not a factor in the crash.
