Brianna Thomas of Paso Robles Dies in Highway 101 Collision [Paso Robles, CA]

Paso Robles, CA (August 29, 2024) – Brianna Thomas, 27, of Paso Robles, was killed in a Highway 101 collision past Wednesday noon.

It was about 12:15 when the collision happened on northbound highway at Wellsona Road.

At the same time, a Freightliner truck pulling a trailer was driven by Justin Levi Adams, 44, of Pahrump, Nevada. It was traveling north on US 101 in the #2 lane.

According to the authorities, Thomas failed to yield the right of way and drove into the path of the truck. 

As a result, the Freightliner struck the Cadillac on the right front door killing Thomas. 

Her vehicle rested in the northbound acceleration lane of US 101 while the truck stopped on the east shoulder of the freeway.

Adams was not hurt in the collision. 

CHP is investigating the deadly incident and has not provided any information if drugs or alcohol were involved.
