9-Year-Old Girl Dies after being Struck by Car on Carolyn Weston Boulevard near Ishi Goto Street
STOCKTON, CA (March 6, 2018) – A young girl died after she was hit in a pedestrian collision on Carolyn Weston Boulevard on Tuesday afternoon.
At around 3:40 PM, the 9-year-old girl identified as Brianna Moua, was struck by a car while crossing Carolyn Weston Boulevard near Ishi Goto Street. A civilian performed CPR on the girl until medical responders arrived. She was flown to the UC Davis Medical Center where she later died from injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The car involved in the accident was later towed away.
Police are now looking for witnesses to the deadly crash. Two vehicles were at the scene when the crash happened, and investigators believe the drivers would have the best account of what happened. One vehicle is a late 90’s to early 2000’s silver Mercedes and the other vehicle is a late 90’s to early 2000’s model of either a dark-colored Isuzu Rodeo or Honda Passport.
