Mount Hope Crash Kills Briana Paul Gomez
Mount Hope, CA (August 05, 2021) – On Sunday, 31-year-old Briana Gomez of El Cajon, lost her life in a rollover crash on State Route 94.
The fatal accident happened at about 7 a.m. in Mount Hope area.
Investigating officers said Gomez was westbound on the freeway. Another vehicle tried to merge into her lane and crashed with her vehicle.
Her vehicle overturned and she died on the scene.
The Medical Examiner’s Office determined she died of multiple blunt force injuries in the crash.
It is not yet determined if the other vehicle’s driver will face any charges related to Gomez’ death.
Meanwhile, the California Highway Patrol continues to investigate this fatal incident.
